My role: Producer

Our task was to create content that would challenge some of the negative stereotypes about mature aged workers, held amongst employers in small to medium enterprises.
Our solution was to create 2 series of videos, featuring real mature age workers and their inspiring stories. Each series was made up of 4 videos, created with 2 different directors and two different formats, to keep the content fresh and engaging.
The first concept 'Talking Resume', was a documentary style series that incorporated footage from in the workplace mixed with a round-table style interview.
The second concept 'On the Job' followed a more experimental approach, using camera glasses to capture an interaction between 'the customer' (and actress) and the employee in the workplace. This was a challenge to shoot because 'the customer' had to double as a camera operator and everyone in the crew had to stay out of her line of sight at all times! This made for some precarious moments, but a happy result in the end and a fresh way of story-telling which our client loved.
I worked on the project from pre through to post production, including casting, shoot days and management of post production through to final delivery.
